Accomodation

What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 2 p.m., and checkout is any time before 11 a.m.
Do you allow late checkout?
You will be required to pay extension fee for per person 1,000 yen per hour (including tax),untill 18:00.
Can the hotel keep my baggage before check-in or after checkout?
We can keep your baggage from the morning of the check-in date, and will also hold it for you after checkout.
I want to ship my baggage to the hotel.
Please make your reservation, then ship to the following address. We will hold your baggage until you arrive. Please be sure to write your name and date of your reservation. Postal code 060-0005 Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo, Front Desk, Kita 5 Jo Nishi 7-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Please understand that we cannot keep cash, valuables, breakables, and other items that need temperature and humidity monitoring.
I want to send baggage from the hotel.

What is your cancellation policy?
The hotel charges 20% of the accommodation fee for cancellations on the day before arrival, and 80% for those on the day of arrival. Those who do not contact us to cancel incur a charge of 100%.
I would like an extra bed put in my room.
Extra beds can be put into Large Twin rooms only on the Standard Floor(5F - 12F) for ¥4,000 a bed. We cannot add an extra bed for children over 15. An extra bed is to be shared with a parent. We also have Triple rooms(3 beds on 5F - 14F).
What are the rates for children?
We regret that there are no special rates for children, although some particular plans have related pricing.
There is no charge for children sharing a bed with parents.
What breakfast is available for infants and toddlers?
We charge an extra fee for breakfast for toddlers and infants who need a meal. Prices will vary depending on the restaurant and menu. At the Glass Seasons, there is a child's price for the breakfast buffet. (children 3 and under are free) Children 4 and up pay ¥1,000 (tax included). At Miyama on the 22F, there is no set child's price.
Are there any special provisions for children?
Slippers and Japanese bathrobes for children are available.
Do you have cribs?
Cribs of 110 centimeters in length and 60 centimeters in width can be provided free of charge in large twin rooms only. They are designed for babies under a year old.
What universal service is provided?

We accept all types of service dogs in our hotel. We also have wheelchairs that can be used upon request. Please note that there is a limit to numbers, and we may not be able to accommodate you.

Our facility is barrier free for easy wheelchair access throughout the hotel. We have also prepared a universal room which is also accessible.Universal(multipurpose) restrooms are installed at two locations in the hotel, one on the 3rd floor and one that is also accessible on the 2nd floor.Please use the universal(multi purpose)restroom for changing diapers.

Are cars, bicycles and skis available to rent?
If you would like to rent a car, please go to the Toyota Rental Car located on B1F. For bicycles go to the front desk, and for skis go to the bell captain's desk. There are some periods where we do not have the above items available for rent, so please inquire about details.

Do you have laundry service?
We do laundry and press your clothes. If you are in a hurry, please use the quick service or the night laundry service that will have your clean clothes to you by 7:00 the next morning (must be handed to laundry service by 22:00 the night before, and may not be available on holidays.) Please inquire about details.
Are massage services available in my room?
Between 1:00 PM and 1:00 AM you can have a massage in your room. Prices are:2,700 for 20 min, ¥4,900 for 40 min, ¥7,100 for 60 min, and ¥9,300 for 80 min. (tax included)
Do you have accessible guest rooms?
We have a universal room available for our guests in wheelchairs, that is safe ad comfortable. The door width is 85 cm, and the bed is 45cm high. We also have handrails, bath board, shower bench, step stool, and bath mats available. Please make your requests known when you make your reservation.
Is it possible to make a request for a room on a higher floor?
Please let us know of your preferences and requests upon booking your reservation and we will try to find a room that matches your requests as much as possible.
Do you have any Nonsmoking rooms?
We have some rooms available depending on the grade or room type. For rooms that are not designated as Nonsmoking rooms, we will install a Deodorizer prior to use. Please let your requests be known upon booking your reservation.

Restaurant & Bar

Do I need to make a reservation to use the restaurants?
You do not necessarily need a reservation. However, if it is the weekend or a holiday, or there are hotel events going on, it can be crowded and you may want to make a reservation ahead of time if you know your plans in advance.
I am limited to what I can eat. Can I make a request to the chef?
If you have allergies to certain foods, or cannot have certain foods due to medical reasons we will do our best to aquiest to your needs. If this is the case, please make a reservation in advance so that we have plenty of time to prepare your meal.
Do you have smoking sections in the restaurant?
Each restaurant is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. However, Ambrosia French Cuisine and during breakfast hours there is no smoking at all.
Can I bring small children into the restaurant?
Most of our restaurants welcome small children. However, the main bar "Cross Vault" does not allow minors and our French Cuisine by reservation, Ambrosia does not permit the entry of small children.
Do you have children's menus?
Japanese Cuisine Miyama is the only restaurant that has a children's menu. For other restaurants, please make a reservation for a child's dish.; Buffet and Party Court Glass Seasons buffet cannot accommodate individual needs.
Do you have children's chairs?
Yes, all restaurants have children's chairs.
Can I access the restaurants in my wheelchair?
Yes, all restaurants are accessible.
Can I reserve the entire restaurant?
We do not accept reservations of the entire restaurant. However, we can reserve portions of the restaurant upon discussion. Please inquire by phone in advance.
I would like to dine in a private setting.
Our French Cuisine by reservation,,【AMBROSIA】, Japanese Cuisine 【MIYAMA】, Cantonese Cuisine 【NAN-EN】, Robata, Sushi and Northern Cuisine 【AKIZU】all have private rooms available.
Is there anything from the hotel that can be taken out?
The pastry boutique Poppins has various cakes and breads that can be taken out. For sanitary purposes restaurant food cannot be taken out.

Can you make arrangements for a rental car for me?
Please go to the Toyota Rental Car office on B1F of the hotel. Vehicles available for rent are parked in hotel parking for your convenience. Reservations for rental cars must be made by each individual. Toyota Rental and Lease Co. Shin Sapporo TEL. 0120-51-1381 (08:00 - 20:00)
Is there anywhere inside the hotel where I can smoke?
There is a smoking room on the B1F and Lobby floor. Restaurants and bars besides the French Cuisine Ambrosia, Buffet and Party Court Glass Seasons all have divided sections.
* Depending on how crowded the restaurant is, you may not be able to smoke.
* Smoking is only permitted in the private rooms of Japanese Cuisine Restaurant Miyama.
* Some guest rooms are smoking rooms. Please make your requests known when you book your reservation.
Is there a gift shop inside the hotel?
There are shops that sell souvenirs on the Lobby floor where you can also purchase cigarettes, soft drinks, and canned beer. there are vending machines inside the hotel where you can purchase juice and cigarettes. Besided what is available inside the hotel, there is a Seven Eleven convenience store right across from the hotel that is open 24/7.
Can I ship my baggage from the hotel?
The shipping desk on the Lobby floor will handle shipping and transport of your baggage . We also have boxes and bags available(paid).
Is there a pay phone inside the hotel?
There is a pay phone that can handle international calls on the Lobby floor that takes coins, and is open 24/7.
Is there an ATM inside the hotel?
There is no ATM inside the hotel for bank or credit card transactions. Please use the ATM located inside the Seven Eleven across the street. There are major bank tellers and ATM's available within 5 to 10 minutes on foot from the hotel.
Are T-shirts and jeans acceptable attire to enter the hotel?
Our hotel does not have a set dress code. However, we do ask guests to refrain from wearing room slippers, pajamas and Yukatas outside of your guest room. *The French Cuisine Ambrosia does not admit persons in casual wear.
