Please be advised that Hokkaido and the city of Sapporo are scheduled to introduce an accommodation tax for stays from April 1, 2026.

Effective Date: Scheduled for April 1st, 2026.

Even if you have made a reservation before the announcement by Hokkaido and Sapporo, your stay will be subject to the tax for stays from April 1, 2026 onward.

Accommodation Tax Rates:

The tax will be levied per person per night, based on the accommodation rate as follows:

*The accommodation rate excludes meal costs such as breakfast and consumption tax.

Other Information:

The accommodation tax will be charged separately from the accommodation fee and will be payable at check-in or check-out.
