Chef

A Word from the Chef

Masahiro Watabe,
the chef of Hokkaido Specialties Akizu
Exploring a new culinary world at Akizu

I would like to create new culinary experiences by combining the skills in Japanese cuisine that I have for years honed at Miyama with the expertise I have inherited from the former Chef of this restaurant.
We offer our guests cuisine that is second to none, with a menu including freshly made sushi and charcoal-grilled food as well as fresh seasonal fish and shellfish from the waters off Hokkaido, primarily off eastern Hokkaido.
